I wish Malaysia does have more ISPs, rather than having the TM (Tak Mungkin) as the hottest and the most 'valuable' ISP in Malaysia. Well, we have jaring, but it does not as good as TM i think.
The government is proud and keep on claiming that Malaysia is one of the best IT hub. Hell no.
Some of the developed countries are offering 25MBmbps, and FOR EVEYONE (IF THEY HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO APPLY IT :D)!!!! MALAYSIA??? We only can afford the highest..... uhm let me think, 2MB or 4 MB???? Hey we claim we are IT HUB. Singapore and Thai are far much more better than us.
Oh..... I forgot to mention that Singapore, NZ, Aussie, Hong Kong and China - they also offer 25mbps of connection speed, 2mb is normal as for us, 512kb, and mostly they use 4mb.
So no wonder we cant play online game with Singaporean....... HAHAHA
Worse still, TM da naik minyak. X perasan ke? We call the service centre, or customer care, but hey..... do they really care bout us? They just care if we pay them or not, mostly. :P
When we complain something, they will say, 'Tak Mungkin (TM). Pastu bla2'. And when we reported or asked for service, they will ask for 2 days, but some are good which they will come to u ASAP. Did i mentioned 'SOME'? I think i need to change it to 'FEW'. Most of the workers are not so "MESRA PELANGGAN''.
Btw, do u have the same problem as most of the streamyx users face? What i mean is, u never get the highest or full speed of ur internet connection speed, worst still, sometimes u only get half, or lower than that. Check ur speed at http://www.speedtest.net/
The reason of we facing all of these prob is......... TM the only ISP that really reliable in this country (so sad, reliable huh?). So lets us our powers as customers. Show them what we got.
FYI. Malaysia does make joint venture with other countries such as Singapore in order to improve our internet abilities. Why? Because of the ISP in our country......
This is quoted from http://myvistakomanwel.blogspot.com/2007/11/reliable-broadband-service-with-minimum.html

WE WANT BETTER ISP. THE CURRENT ISPs SHOULD IMPROVE THEIR PERFORMANCES
